Dr. Nikolaos Kritharis is originally from Parsippany, NJ. He has a strong Greek background from his parents who were born and raised in Greece, on the island of Lemnos. Dr. Kritharis graduated Cum Laude from New York University with a degree in Chemistry. He completed his dental training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now Rutgers Dental School in Newark, NJ. There, he was selected into the Gamma Pi Prosthodontic Honor Society and awarded the Irwin Quinn Memorial Award for empathy, professionalism, management skills, and scientific knowledge while caring for his patients. He later enhanced his dental training in endodontics, oral surgery, implant dentistry, and general dentistry by completing a General Practice Residency at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ.
On his free time Dr. Kritharis is an avid sports fan, enjoys cycling, reading, playing sports, and improving his golf game! Most of all he enjoys spending time with his wife, Vicmary, who is also a dentist and whom he met in dental school.
